Hey thanks for the info man. I've been told that Berkeley are playing the Rising tent on Saturday though. I heard it from a good friend of the band so I'm pretty sure it's true.

They probably are, they just won't suck as much.

    Jazz fusion bo**oxology.

On the subject of Berkeley, their label Supremo Records website says they are playing Saturday 12th on the Goodness Stage (?) at 1:45pm. I think this an alternative or correct name for the "X" stage.

I just found out who Ashley Hamilton is. Another one of these Pop Idol rejects. Man, that sucks.

I am really glad that the Mars Volta has been added, chances looked slim after the recent death of their keyboardist (RIP).
However, now my worst supposed clash of the festival is The White Stripes, The Polyphonic Spree, and The Mars Volta...

They should have an extra tent...let's call it the Facist Tent. Punters enter the tent, firstly, MCD will take all your cash you brought with you....120euros isn't enuf!! Then you get a good beatin from the bouncers!! Following this you will be force fed with e-coli contaminated burgers and 10 day old chips. This followed by another savage beatin from the Gards. And anyone in possession of a ghetto blaster or guitar will have all such items confiscated by comreg. All this will be done to the music of Aphex Twin. If you don't enjoy this experience you will be promptly ejected from the festival.

    But i like Aphex Twin.
Don't put them in the same sentence as MCD.

Anyway lamd who are mars volta?

and echo and the bunnymen on first..... thats a joke.

    but flaming lips......

Yeah, I like Aphex aswell, it would just be funny with all that sh*t.
And I'm picturing myself rockin my tits off at Supergrass and then getting real depressed when Damien Rice comes on.
They put David Gray on the main stage before and I can tell you now, that singer songwriters don't work on the main stage in front of 30 odd thousand people.

    Don't bother, trust me.

They make the sort of music Cedric threatened to when people wouldn't stopmoshing at ATDI concerts, i.e. unlistenable jazz fusion.

For something more akin to ATDI, try Sparta, containing the other three members of the now-defunct ATDI (minus Cedric and Omar)

i wouldn't call snow patrol a very boring band, they have good diversity in there music, now i'm not a perticularly huge snow partol fan but i do know that there songs can be slow and soft and some times loud and irratating but as bands go, i think there good.
