Why would it suddenly start getting bad again after being good for a while?

what a disgrace... ping times to eauk servers of 400 to 500.

This, added to the fact that I am paying 10 euros a month for a a domain name that I dont remotely want or need is too much to bear.

I am calling esat right now, this is shoddy.

A friend in Finland gets speeds of 250 KB/sec + for €25 euro a month. We are still in the middle ages here.

Ferdi, it's people like you who are screwing it up for the rest of us. I am downloading about 1.7gigs a week. I wonder if they have an "excessive use" clause in their T & C's, you sure as hell would qualify. Warez monkey.

I think (moreso hope) in a few weeks every warez monkey will be bored downloading all their warez.

Why can't they just leave it running at night when everyones in bed ?
That would make a bit more sense to me.

I fully understand what your getting at but is a little consideration for others using the service too much to ask? We're all in the same boat here. We all pay the same as you and we all paid the same to eircom over the last few years.

id love for some one to properly answer these question ffs like, i mean in some areas its fine and the others its busted.. i mean surly the Galway one is different to the Cork one.. or is it? and if its not then y does the galway one get preference to the rest of the country.. i.e the proper dload rates and the pig times..

On a side note.. I e-mailed Netsource about the problems askin if i signed up would i recieve the same bad service.. i sent that mail 2 days ago, to a customer service that has replied the following day to all 7 of my other mails.. It seems they are staying quite on this.. any of you ring them yet?

I rang em earlier tonight, waste of time TBH. Got told by support that they would speak to "network egineers" and get back to me.

Ill not be holding my breath...

/me contemplates my 1 complaint a minute e-mail script, that usually gets attention

I still haven't gotten an error report off them for what happened on Tuesday despite promises that I would.
