Esat BT has announced a reduction in the price of its business broadband services. The company said on Wednesday that it would introduce a 15 percent price cut for two of its business DSL services, ADSL 1Mb and 2Mb connections. The reductions will apply to new and existing connections from 1 July. Esat said the reductions were made possible by last week's decision by ComReg to force Eircom to cut the price it charges competitors to access the so-called last mile of cable. Esat said it was passing the saving on to its customers.
