You know i saw an exact explanation of this term one day
and i cant remember where ???

However I always assume its to do with the general handbag **** that happens on a gaa pitch

i reckon it means when two players at shuffling eachother bout down there by the hips. that could be classed as arseboxing, particularly when getting into position for frees and the like
