Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

These figures are probably turnover as opposed to profit, which would make a big difference. Why not enlighten us DampSquid and tell us what they are rather than just posting a stream of numbers and expecting us to be inspired??

The figures are for incomes so they possibly don't reflect things like debts and expenditure and share price where applicable.

Madrid couldn't have that much money after buying Zidane, Figo and Ronaldo.

If you think Real couldn't have that money, you should try selling 23square acres of land 1 mile from the centre of Madrid and 6 multi store bulidings in the finencial district of madrid and add that to the fact that they are owned by Real Banco and I think you will get fihure of almost a billion...

Madrid may well take that amount in, but aren't they in debt? The banks being quite willing to put up the €€€ for any major transfers, and the local council/government seemlingly willing to buy their facilities at crazy prices, then give it back to them :)

But I'd always thought they were well below even with respect to money owed....

That's mad ... Real Madrid the franchise is worth a mountain of gold, but they haven't a penny in the bank ... goes to how you, you can't buy success ... no champions league [no real chance of a big money signing]

Yeah sorry, those figures are annual turnover. Not including player sales. I still don't understand how Villa could create so much revenue. And Ellis must be a rich bast*rd, cos he's no spending any of it.
