Microsoft word has a very useful function that lets you print 4 pages scaled down on to one page. Handy for lecture notes which are usually written in huge baby writing. But adobe acrobat doesn't have this option in the printing dialog. Any ideas?

'Cos it's usually it's the printer driver that allows you to print multiple pages on a single one.

course you could always cut /paste individual pages from the PDF into word and then do it that way....

Anyway make sure you are on the latest version of whichever PDF viewer you are using...

Did a search on google and download.com and found some useful apps to change pdf to doc format. But seems like you have to own the full version of adobe acrobat to use it. Dagnamit!

Adobe can sell the editing software
    - don't get too excited cos if you look at the document properties/ security a PDF produced by adobe acrobat / pdf writer /distiller can be locked for printing / editing / copying etc.

Freeware tool to look at Ghostview - print to postscript and ghost view converts to pdf or www.pdf995.com - ad-ware but good pdf print to file utility

and of course www.openoffice.org - don't know if it has all the features of word but you don't need a license for it ...
