    hi all

Hopefully some out there can help me. last night /this morning water in my estate (naas ) was cut off and as we had guests in this was not noticed until the Attic water tank ran empty agghhh .

later the water supply returned and we thought all was well until we discovered we now have no flowing hot water but the cold supply is ok. The immersion tank is hot but nothing flows out of the taps this is I assume due to an air block somewhere.

The heater boiler is a Vokera Vision 255 and we use the Heat-Genius app to control it. I have turned off the water heating function just in case

Does anyone know what I can do to bleed this system ?

    thanks in-advance

Im no plumber, but one time I cleared a airlock by blocking the kitchen mixer tap outlet and opening both taps.

Wait for more advise first but!

I had this problem before as well. and I did the same as Mech1 has suggested... if you have a mixer tap in the kitchen put your hand over the nozel turn on the hot tap (which has no flow) and then turn on the cold (mains) tap. Hold your hand firm for a bout 30 seconds. The water form the mains will make its way back up the hot supply through the hot cylinder through the supply pipe that feeds the hot supply from the water tank in the attic - this will force the air out and the hot tap should start to flow again.

If you don't have a mixer tap and you have a separate hot cold tap in the kitchen, connect a piece of garden hose between the taps, turn on the hot tap first then the cold (mains) tap to complete the procedure.

    Good luck with it!
