Hi just wanted some advice im looking to buy a honda civic in the next month or so with budget of 8-9k my brother in law just bought a car from the uk and told me that theres better value to be had over in the uk.He bought his car from a main dealer over there and got it shipped home without ever seeing it(he got it checked by the Rac),worked out ok for him,hes told me i should do the same im tempted by the prices over there but buying a car without seeing it seems very risky to me.i know the proper way to do it would be to travel over but unfortunatly its not possible at the moment.Wanted to know what more experienced people thought about this ?.Thanks for any opinions

I wouldn't buy a €8-9k car without seeing it first, some people would have no problem, I would.

Im in the same position as yourself bernie im looking to buy a civic for about the same budget as well and am very tempted by the uk prices especally as most of the honda in the rep seem to be holding their value, that being said i dont think i would spend that much on a car without seeing it.
