    It is.

But George Clancy is nowhere near Murrayfield.
    Lacey then :D

Hogg had a legitimate claim there. Seemed that they both had a hand on the ball as it was grounded.

Sly from Webb, very light touch did just enough. Would have got away with it too if it wasn't for that meddling TMO

Rhys Webb shaking his head after that - not endearing himself to anyone.

Having a great game though, he'll be right in the shake up to be Lions 9 this summer.

Welsh flankers are a nightmare to deal with at the breakdown. Warburton stepping back from the captaincy has been excellent for him. Might finally be able to deliver on his ability.

Very niggly game already. Some slightly dangerous rucking from Wales at times but not getting picked up.

Definitely going to be handbags here.

Good call Venjur!! There is no worse sight in rugby than Liam Williams scoring a try....just slightly ahead of that dopey look that Farrell has when he's about to kick.

It doesn't apply to kick offs, only in play kicks.

    Ah ok, thanks.

Nicely executed try. Williams looks to be playing himself into the lions back 3.

    Good old Mike

John Beattie is a brutal co commentator

  • Explain that one to me. Wyn Jones and Tipuric made no effort to move after the tackle. Is that legal?

Luckily Jennifer Aniston gave him the courage to step down as captain.

BBC commentary have now referred to Seymour as both "Tommy Boyd" and "Tommy Bowe"

What are those words the crowd shout out in between the words of Flower of Scotland?

    Irn Bru.

Halfpenny is going to go on the Lions tour simply by default because he certainly isn't anything special. If Biggar's kicking stats were consistently as good as his, I'd look at Liam Williams playing 15 and either moving Halfpenny back to his original wing position or someone like Amos coming into the side.

Pretty sure Lacey doesn't know you only have to get one knee to the ground for a tackle to be completed.

Ah Seymour. You have to fight more and go in low, early for that.

    EDIT: Got away with it!

Nearly consider a penalty try for that high shot if he hadn't scored.

Was that crossing or was it just a brilliant decoy line??

I'd imagine that would have been a penalty try if he hadn't got it down.

Is there any way by which the referee can award the penalty try in lieu of the try, seeing as the kick was very difficult? He kicked the conversion anyway, so it didn't matter in this case...

Yes. In such a case the ref should award the penalty try.

Don't think so but he could award a penalty so, instead of a Welsh restart, it's a Scotland penalty from halfway.

Visser's fielding since his penalty has been excellent.

Hogg's delayed pass made that. Beautifully done.
