Op any update on how you are getting on with the car now after having it a while ? What’s the fuel consumption like now still around the 8L/100km or has it dropped I assume it would do better than that on a long journey but that’s not bad either. How do you find the auto gearbox ?

I actually only thought about this post last night, and was about to ask almost identical questions :)

I am very tempted to go test drive one but then I am afraid I will like it too much which will lead to me quickly buying one :) I just like that they are something a bit different the the GTI that everyone seems to have.

I did go to look at one when I was deciding this year what to buy,
I got to the car, looked in, walked away.
first thing that said no to me was the head unit screen. It looked like an ipad glued into place.
Maybe it wasn't that bad and I should have a second look.
They seems to be very good value in what you get. I would like to see resale value on a 2 year old one as well though.

I’m actually on my second one, long story but there was an issue with the gearbox giving an over heating issue and Renault UK couldn’t get a part for over the month. The dealer has been great, you really can’t beat a family dealership who actually care.

I love the car, the drive is just so fun, I did a long motorway drive and got 7l/100 but with my usual short commutes it’s 8l/100 which I’m happy with.

I’d say take one for a spin if you can.

Ya I find it very comfortable, really like the suspension and I don’t notice much road noise but my previous car was a silent Nissan Leaf

Good to here you are liking it. How do you find the infotainment system ? As the screen is quite big with everything integrated into it. Also is the four wheel steering noticeable at lower speeds as well as up the speed going around corners ?

Only part of screen etc I don’t like is using it for heater and fan speed, much rather if that was left to physical button.

The 4 wheel steering is great, at Lower speeds around roundabouts etc it’s realy noticeable and same for parking. At higher speeds it like driving a mini tbh, really don’t understand why more cars don’t have it.

Because it adds to cost and weight.

I actually like that. It's big and easy to see. The interior on them in general is very nice.

Hi all, picking up a "garage" registered 171 sport tourer GT Nav on Friday all going well. 9k on the clock. Looking forward to the change from from diesel to petrol. Bit of a jump from the 1.5dci to the 1.6tce.

Can,t be that much now. Surely costs should have come down by now. The Peugeot 306 had them as standard in the 90s.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Manufacturers save money on things as small as power socket in the boot... 4 way steering definitely is more expensive than that and 99.5% of drivers will not notice any difference.

99.5% Interesting stat to pluck form the air :P

I love it and would gladly pay extra for it again anyway.
