    Hi,
    Just curious to know how the law works with regards to this in Ireland...
    Separated almost 8 years, not on paper but living apart, separate lives, no chance of reconciliation etc. What happens if he applies for credit, ends up defaulting on payments, am I going to be hounded for money since technically we're still married? I absolutely would not be guarantor or anything of the sort. Thanks 😊

    Only if it's a joint application and since you're separated highly unlikely.
