Just looking for opinions before I make up my mind this week. Have 6 dairy bred yearlings, 3 hex, 2 frx and a bbx that are a year old to the day. They are still bulls and weigh 400kg

    My options are

put them in the mart next week

    Castrate them

Or throw them in the shed and feed them adlib for the next 4 months and try get them into bull beef

What would be my best option do you reckon?

    Thanks

Have attached a rough pic of them

Squeeze the hex and kill before Christmas. You could chance the bbx for 16mts but the 2 x frx would want to be left as bulls and killed at same time as hex. You wont get much for the frx as bulls in mart and bbx cross fr are not great mart sellers.
