Despite the fact that Jonathan is a fairly common name, many people spell it wrongly. Almost everyone who is called Jonathan spells it like that. I do not take offence at misspellings (I'm used to them), but welcome correct ones!

    Jonathan Gregory

    Jonathan Gregory

I hear you.....and whilst I know people who spell it both ways so to speak, the two Johnathans I work with spell it with the additional "h" so I'm conditioned at this stage to write it thus. They are both Yanks though so maybe that's something to do with it?

Fateen would likely spell it Jonatin so to speak, being fone-etic and dat.

De Brand NEW & IMPROVED so to speak 2-18 Joe Duffy Wurkday Calculator and dat:

Wurkdays in 2-18 and dat: 71
    Joe Shows: 57
    No Show Joe Shows: 14
    Breakeens 4 Joe: 14

PBH (de full-time host of de show) Shows: 9
PBH guest appearances and dat: 1
    D'Omen Shows: 4
    AN Udder Shows: 0
Good Fryday No Show by nobody at all at all: 1

    NEW FEATURE SO TO SPEAK:
Fateen's Estimated Fees (De FEF Matrix so to speak) to date dis year: €142,500*
(not including de EXTRA FEES for 3 days of De Beast From De East TV + Radio Simulcast Xtravaganza + likely "Danger Money" for travelling to and from wurk in de snow and dat).

    King-World-News-WTF-Is-Going-On-Here-864x400_c.jpg
*de fees are calculated at €2,500 per show x days dat Fateen is in so to speak. Dose fees are likely conservative and outdated as day are 2 years old so to speak.
I'm including Good Fryday as a Wurkday as it is not an official Bank Holiday/Holiday Day. Even Pat Kenny is in Newstalk FFS, but no-one in RTE of course of course.

Vince Gill does sound like Glenn Frey in fairness so to speak....although I can't imagine Vince Gill in Miami Vice (TV show for de younger listeners).

POSSIBLY coming up on twoday's show and dat:
    • De lunacy again and dat so to speak. Death debt so to speak. Mental health calls from men so to speak
    • WHOY a billboard company said no to ads from BOAT sides about de abortion referendum and dat so to speak
    • Civil servants get time off for a divorce and didn't know about it so want it dubbled and dat so to speak
    • WHOY go to the civil courts and dat so to speak when de peeple don't pay
Camp voyis outro? Do you need to ask?

BONUS: Joe teaching Roan how to pronounce a placename forgetting they were still on air. DE IRONY!

  • Registered Users Posts: 25,420 ✭✭✭✭sligojoek

De mental effects of the lunacy.
Billboard companies not taking add from eeeder side of De referendum.
Civil servants want more time of to deal with marital break ups.

    SNAP !! so to speak

  • Registered Users Posts: 53,028 ✭✭✭✭ButtersSuki

The town was Hopkinton in Massachusetts. Both Ronan and Fateen decided to add a "g" into it to make it "Hop-KING-ton"; in the same way many Irish people add an "r" into "Chi-CAR-go" so to speak.

"Inadvertantly" does not mean "unavoidably", Joe; and I hardly think the woman got an accidental divorce.
