    Hi all,
Getting a custom exhaust made (not a full system) in the UK but will need someone to fit it (spot welding etc). Can anyone recommend someone in Dublin that can do this? Thanks

You can check with places like www.kwik-fit.com/locate-a-centre
www.autoexhausts.ie or cobyautos.ie should do it but ring first

I very much doubt a kwik-fit will fit an exhaust you supply yourself to them.

I've had an exhaust fitted in Discount Tyres in Blanch so they'd be worth a shout. Souhans in Trim are another goodnshlut, but not sure they'd touch something they didn't supply either.

Thanks folks. That's the issue I'm getting. They won't touch a non-supplied exhaust!

Why would any welding be needed on a custom made exhaust? And how do you know it will fit if not made on the car? It's a bit if an unusual setup

I would also recommend you give www.autoexhausts.ie in Crumlin a call. I have found them very friendly and helpful.

Not in Dublin, but close. Souhans in trim are pretty good.

    Worth giving them a shout.

I'll pm you the number of my mechanic in Ballymount industrial estate. He cut and welded my exhaust when it was knocked out of shape.

Discount tyres lads are very good I've found. Despite what you might think from the name... Souhans have a great reputation, but can be pricey.
