Understand this is an interior design forum but didn't know where else to post to get some suggestions

Looking to paint outside of house on masonry and looking for ideas as to what colours go best with the masonry and plinth

At some point aswell we'll be changing out the doors & windows and just looking for ideas of colour schemes for both including the windows & doors that would work well with eachother

Original colour of masonry is magnolia and plinth is Bitter Chocolate. Wooden windows are a teak but mine is painted a Rosweood stain

Some houses on estate are going for different colour options of paint/doors/windows

Myself & missus are a bit split on decisions

A good few houses have gone with cream windows with the magnolia but think the windows get lost in both being of a cream palette

Heres a few examples of houses in estate

Just pick a colour you like and then choose one of the palest versions of it. You don't really need a strong 'bold' image on your house. It can look bad in my opinion.

Also, might be worth asking whoever paints it (or yourself, if your DIYing it) to paint the drain pipe if yours is like the first picture (halfway into the house itself).

A blue house with a bright white drain running down the centre will draw attention to the drain pipe.

    thanks for the info

Mine is similar to the first house but currently have the door in wood colour same as the windows

Door is to be replaced shortly for a dark grey or black so just looking for ideas or suggestions for colours that will work with this and also the brickwork

    Went with Fleetwood Barleycove

You could be brave, but you'd need to paint the door the same colour to tie it all in.

Changing the door to a Palladio Bog Oak so no need to worry about that
