Work it? Store it? Hes looking for all the money for it....

I’ve a neighbor here that bought NH7060 in Holland a few years back. It was supposed to be a demo model with very few hours on...turns out that it was on a generator and had many thousands of hours on.
    Caveat emptor.

I've a feeling i know that tractor & where it came from. If so hours would be correct though it was bought off the original owner for less.

Now I could be wrong but hours/make match.

Tractor was bought new for 5-7 grand less then asking price, and you would have had 650’s 540 tyres at that, at a push it’s worth 50 incl vat if you found a lad that has a tm fetish

Lemme get this right – tractors have hours, and not mileage??

Well the PTO can be used separately for loads of different things (Powerwasher/bale wrapper/diet feeder) whereas a car just drives. It's a fairer representation of work the engine has been through as it's taken for granted that a tractor is going to be going through rougher ground than a car.

Given the tractor may have no dealer warranty I wouldn't touch it. As with the majority of tractors the warranty faults only materialise at around 1000 plus hours when the tractor has being broken in. So if you buy this you have to factor in the cost of any repairs which may have being covered under a warranty which is no longer applicable and may result in some very expensive repairs.

Also trying to finance 53000 on a machine that age will not be easy as the book value will be substantially less.

Yes, because you could spend 20 hours working it hard and only actually travel 10 miles, or no miles at all if it was sitting stafionary powering a slurry pump or mixer.
Hours usually measured at about 2000 rpm.

Jim comes up with some nice tractors.
Expect to see it also advertised in Crossdoney, with a dealer up North, and perhaps over near Bawnboy with a well known tyre dealer.
Those boys all seem to be working through each other.

Would he be in the habit of cash deals? If it's the one i know (how many NH tractors with so few hours & kept in a shed all the time can be in the country?) it was paid for in cash off the seller :pac:

It’s still only a 10 year old tractor. I don’t think it’s far off the mark if it’s genuine.

It's not much cheaper than a new T6.155 by the time you factor in discounts and the credit offers NH have.

You would want to be clean mad to buy it.
