It was always baffling to me that Motley Crue or any of its members except for Tommy Lee (who done a DJ set in Kerry or Dublin) never played Ireland as they would often played the UK ???. Wonder was it cause they were mostly sober and **** knows what they would end up doing here

Saw them in 2015 in Manchester on there last tour and they were pretty good

I figure it's worth 20 quid to hear millionaire sung properly, josh is cool and all, but his vocals don't cut it

I’ve seen them here back in the 80s but trying to remember who they played with. I’m fairly sure they played support to Stevie Nicks in 89 here even though Richard Marx is listed as her support on the European leg of the tour.

I'm sure they probably have. I live in the arse-hole of nowhere and they've played here twice.

Love with Arthur Lee played in Dublin in the Noughties.

I take it Kate Bush would be another artist not to have played in Ireland, due to her minimal gig performances?

Did the Cocteau Twins ever play Ireland, I know they played a few T in the Parks but I don't know if they crossed over and played Witnness or Oxegen, I know Liz Frazer toured with Massive Attack this year and at Electric Picnic 2006.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

My older sister saw them in mid eighties. I'm pretty certain it was in the SFX.
They played again the Tivoili around 92.
I wasn't quick enough to get tickets to that gig unfortunately.

Electric Picnic was the first time they played here. They were meant to play in or around 1996 but that got cancelled for some reason. I don't know about the 76-78 era.
Jonny said at the start of the EP performance "they finally let us in" I presume he was talking about being let into Ireland.

Lorde hasn't played here yet. Bit of an anomaly for a big pop act.
