I don’t actively look at JNLR’s... do people still listen to Lyric FM?

Just as the thread title says...
Personally I think it’s better than most of the other stuff on Irish radio in spite of the criticism it gets

Listen , except to Marty and George.

I listen to it far more than any other radio station. That, in spite of the unfortunate axing of niche shows like 'Jazz Alley'. Marty Whelan pads out his slot with waffle, but this is only a minor grievance.

Yes, but sick of the ads, news and traffic reports, too much chat

Switched over to Jazz FM a while ago, Lyric FM has gone to sh*te ...especially mystery train - just utter drivel

Was always a fan of the blue of the night, and I think Bernard is doing an excellent job there since he took over, its a cracking show, you really don't know what you are going to get!!

Listening to the Mystery Train a lot more now instead of Creedon.... I really l like creedons presenting style, but his musical choice has become less diverse, maybe that's an order from above, but theres only so many times I can listen to Marquee Moon by television (yeah its a great tune, but come on, they have more crackers!), Waiting on You by Future Islands, and Thinking of a Place by The War on Drugs.... Mystery Train does throw out a few suprises.

Just checked LiveRadio.ie platform data. RTÉ Lyric FM is the seventh most listened radio station in Ireland (in 2018).
