Well its a Highline so its a decent spec, it should have radar cruise control but I can’t see the cut out in the bumper, dual zone climate, upgraded alloys, upgraded seats, bigger media screen, it has no parking sensors or heated seats tho

It doesnt have the adaptive criuse control.

It should definitely have adaptive cruise, it would have been standard on a 2014 highline, looks like it has the button for it on the steering wheel too? Funny auld spec with xenons and the larger mmi screen.

That is a nice engine and box combo and theh are both decently reliable.

Possibility of it being a UK import make a difference to the spec?

Could just be the cancel button you see? It does like the ACC button though,

Car is Irish spec isn’t it

There’s only one explanation if it has the button but the bumpers different..

Yeah my thoughts exactly re not having the radar on the bumper. It does look like the ACC logo on the button. The non ACC cars have CNL written on the button.

Looks like an Irish car, dials in kms only.

Yeah, the ACC icon is kinda T shaped overall

Can you just code the feature out so it doesn’t throw up errors?

Is it the same type sensor as Front Assist?

On the Golf 7 front assist and ACC are both done through the one radar. Probably can be coded out but I wouldnt be wild about doing it on a car that fresh IMO, it'd be a bit of a bodge. Those sensors are heart stopping expensive though, around €1k iirc.

Thanks for input. Would a Honda Jazz be a better candidate than the Golf? Found one online, newer car for not much difference in the price.

It really depends on what the priorities are.
If she’s not bothered between them then get the Jazz as it will be completely painless to own (unless you look at it)
