Loved this show. It must be hard to parody the news in the UK at the moment, it's such a sh1t show. He has great guests who usually have very interesting perspectives.

    Love this show.

His tour of scotland programme was really funny as well.

Frankie needs to get back on stage pronto. This is not so much a woke as asleep.

It was awful last night. That black guy talking like he was being persecuted and living in America. Frankie was funny at times but the rest of the guests were terrible.

The closing monologue from last night was unreal.

    What, no Sara Pascoe?

I think my TV is broke.

Best episode of the season last night for me, Frankie was on fire.

I haven't seen last night's episode yet. The guests this year haven't been very good. The really good guests weren't there just to be funny, the were there because they had some expert insight. The guests this year seem to just give some lay man's opinions and chime in with making jokes. Akala was a really great guest when he was on.

There are loads of news based panel shows and I don't watch any of them because they're not really funny and don't try to be insightful. I'm afraid this series is similar to those shows.

I really like frankie boyle and his opening and closing bits are terrific...but the guests so far have been pretty useless and it definitely loses something without the audience

    Blindboy Boatclub!!

He did well, I get the feeling they may have cut off some of his input :D

I like Blindboy, love his podcast and attended one of his shows - but did he really need to fly over to the UK for that 5 minute segment?

It probably has the highest viewing figures of anything he's appeared on.

I just liked to picture British people watching that, seeing Blindboy come out in his mask and wondering "How are the Irish dealing with coronavirus better than us if those are the masks they're wearing?!"

Love Frankie but his guest lists stink of TV exec diversity quotas.

in fairness, most panel shows are like that these days.

True, but always saw Frankie as anti establishment so kinda unfortunate to see him have to capitulate to the BBC.

Suppose the man has to pay his bills.

Suppose it's possible that Frankie makes up his own mind and chooses his own guests.

Have watched a couple of episodes of this, its alright but I think any comedy being shown at the moment without a live audience is really lacking. Theres a certain catharsis with laughing thats important to have for comedy. Dare I say it but they should pipe in canned laughter, it would at least improve it over silence after punchlines.

Canned laughter should never be allowed.

Yeah I find the show a hard watch without an audience. Plus the panel members are not really that funny in the main. Frankie is still very good but you have to sit through a lot of muck otherwise. The show would probably be better if it was just Frankie on his own with maybe one guest popping on for a chat about the week.

yeah I don't think he was ever anti-woke was he? he just skewers everything and makes off colour jokes
