They returned him to Chechnya? Were all the open landfill tipheads in France full? He could have fed a family of seagulls for a week.

    Not defending anything.

Merely pointing out the old adage that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

Sure, scenes in far-off countries where murderers are being honoured are disgusting, but we'd be lying to ourselves to think that we haven't done and don't do exactly the same thing. It just proves they're as human as we are.

So I'm not going to get myself worked up into a tizzy about it.

Yeah, the justification to crucify anybody who doesn't share their Abrahamic sand religion. That's some fight for 'freedom' man.

Well yeah, there's what, a couple of billion odd Muslims in the world? Even 1% of that does amount to an awful lot.

I think seamus makes a valid if somewhat simplistic point, while also thinking anyone who condones this kind of brutality is an evil backwards scumbag. I'm not about to let it change my thinking on my neighbour or the guy who runs the shop I buy my fags from.

"Abrahamic sand religion". Laughed out loud at that. I'm gonna hit my Ma with that one when she gives out to me for not going to mass for Christmas.

The only freedom ISIS, and indeed all the flavours of islamists, are fighting for is the freedom for you to die because you don't subscribe to and adhere to their cockamaimey world and skyfairy views.

I am not allowed discuss …

One has to worry about the seemingly growing number of white people in our midst who on seeing any commentary related to any demographic that is not one's own that they will deem it to be racially motivated and respond accordingly.

I wonder if that happens in Muslim countries the other way around. Me things not.

I think we have an enemy within and they cause so much problems we could do without.

Of course he got a nice funeral at home. There aren't any Chechens that oppose what he did.

That is a very bold claim to make without any evidence to back it up...

I thought it would be something to do with the IRA or something when I glanced at the post. That would of been bad enough, but comparing Thatcher to jihadists is pathetic, even for seamus. News lows are reached everyday in a desperate attempt to downplay barbarism.

“The man who lies to himself can be more easily offended than anyone else. You know it is sometimes very pleasant to take offense, isn't it? A man may know that nobody has insulted him, but that he has invented the insult for himself, has lied and exaggerated to make it picturesque, has caught at a word and made a mountain out of a molehill--he knows that himself, yet he will be the first to take offense, and will revel in his resentment till he feels great pleasure in it.”- ― Fyodor Dostoevsky, The Brothers Karamazov

What an odd thing to say?

Anyway its the Daily Mail ffs, is 200 at a funeral a big turnout in Chechnya? Its not as if there are thousands lining the streets

Maybe you don't know what it's like there?
Chechnya is almost 100% Muslim, their president Ramzan Kadyrov is not only a devout Muslim but "Russia's number one Muslim".

Do you think they will oppose when a kafir (that's someone like you) disrespects Mohammad and gets a traditional Islamic punishment?

And little Leo V wants more of these types in our country.

During the Parsons green attack in 2017, Seamus made a post laughing at the hysterics of people running from the scene, and that the bag left on the train was probably someone's shopping explaining how everyone overreacts to such incidents and there's no real threat. It turned out be a bomb, after which he never posted on that thread again. Warms my heart to see he's still at it.

Merely pointing out the old adage that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter.

Rubbish. That was in the days of when people were fighting various forms of oppression, and sought freedoms for their nation or particular group. What oppression or freedoms were they fighting against to cut the head off a civilian in a foreign country?

Go on.. I'd love to see you argue the freedom fighter angle on this one.. because I suspect you know that you don't have a leg to stand on.

When was the last time we (western nations) honored someone for beheading a civilian? Hell, a variety of western nations have brought up their soldiers on criminal charges for "barbaric" behavior abroad, which is far cry from what you're suggesting (imagine what we'd do to a civilian vigilante who decided to do the same). Nor, have I seen any suggestion of a western civilian population praising the behavior of soldiers in torturing or killing "the enemy" in brutal ways.

    Perhaps you can enlighten me?

It doesn't matter... if even one Muslim might, possibly, maybe, even slightly is against what happened, then you can't talk about "Muslims" that way. You have to interject with qualifiers like "some", or "many", otherwise you're stepping across some imaginary line in the sand.

Yes i am somewhat aware of what the country is like and what a nasty piece of work Kadyrov is, is but that doesnt excuse your disgraceful wild generalization. There were 200 people at a funeral, hardly a mass outpouring of public support and according to other media reports quoting local officials, he was not buried with any 'special honours'

Yes, almost. Not completely, but almost. So even you disagree with yourself.
