Haven't played for years, want to get back into it.

Will need to get a racquet but would hope not to spend too much, would appreciate any advice here.

    Thanks

With racquets you get what you pay for. First thing you need to get right is the grip size. Then the weight of the racquet. Some clubs have starter coaching or club nights and may have used racquets to loan you while starting off. First thing is to make sure you are going to stay with it, as they can go expensive.

Whereabouts in the in the country are you?

It can take a player years to find the right stick for them.

It depends on so many factors. First, determine your playstyle and do your research from there. Just use your old racquet for a while.
