Covid+ and fully vaccinated

I know somebody going for a covid test tomorrow, fully vaccinated and had covid in december. Id imagine you would want to be very unlucky in this instance to be positive.

This person has a dry scratchy cough, hot and cold sweats, no temp, bit of chest pain.

Marrs symptoms were relatively mild and no long-term loss of smell etc. That would not be guaranteed with his age and medical history (stroke, tumour) unvaccinated.

Basically, symptoms are likely to be less severe and recovery quicker if vaccinated, even with the increased chance of breakthrough infection from Delta.

5% of all tested positive cases are fully vaccinated people. I'd love to know the percentage of vaccinated people with covid that don't get tested. I'd hazard a guess that it's another 5%

Sure the NY Yankees are currently on their third outbreak since they were vaccinated. Doesn't seem that rare. Hopefully your symptoms don't worsen and you recover soon.
