Sandra Collins-Nicola Tallant Podcast

Just listened to it and searched for her name here and this thread came up.

What a strange podcast, particularly as you noted the odd way they talked about the aunt she was caring for. Sounds like Sandra Collins was left hanging in the wind, a very vulnerable young woman with very little education and very little life experience caring for a bitter old woman. From what they say she didn't "fit in", had no friends, was desperate for human company and was ripe for the picking for a predator. A dream for someone like Graham Dwyer or similar.

Local plasterer, Martin Early was found not guilty of murder due to a lack of evidence. He was a married man in a relationship with Sandra Collins. Lots of weird goings on with an anonymous letter sent to the Gardai to dupe them. Very interesting case. I have a feeling everyone involved knows who did it.

It's not very plausible. She was obviously very subject to abuse. A bit innocent and lost for company.

I was more intrigued by her family, their attitude to her and the position she found herself in in that village. If the "evil aunt" was that bad, and one of them refused to stay with her for more than a week, why did they feel it was acceptable for Sandra to basically spend the rest of the aunts life with her? That's no foundation for a young girls life.
