My Bloody Valentine - Isn't Anything

I always like to think that my purchase of it in Comet helped it to top this chart in January 1989.

Just realised I genuinely have no clue whatthe last album I listened to in full was. My listening habits have changed so much. It’s always the iPod on shuffle for me now.

Copper Blue is a super album btw. I keep meaning to check out more of Bob Moulds recent stuff. I’ve heard bits and pieces and it usually sounds good, but somehow never get round to getting his albums.

In a Bar Under the Sea by dEUS.

Remember seeing the video for Roses on No Disco way back then and getting the tape and wearing it out. I've been a huge fan of theirs over the years but not so much the last 2 albums it's been nearly 10 years since they had new music so hope they have new music soon.

It's amazing how music can take you back in time and make you remember things you'd completely forgotten about life at the time. I'd forgotten I'd lent the tape to someone at school at the end of the year and cycling a 30km round trip to get it back during the summer holidays 😀

Vapor Trails (remixed) by Rush. Sample track, headphones recommended:

Ye Hypocrites, are these your pranks
To murder men and gie God thanks?
Desist for shame, proceed no further
God won't accept your thanks for murder.
