That sucks , anywhere remotely urban you can leave your bike without a big chain and or brake lock on it for any amount of Time.

What part ? My missus works in D8 and rides into work sometimes.

When I bought my first bike in Germany after I arrived I got a huge f*ck off chain. When I was paying for it the nice lady in the Louis store asked was I off to the Czech Republic for a holiday. In the two years I lived there I used that big Abus chain all of once !! No one ever touched my bike no matter where i left it.

Didnt catch that part you picked up- but the wires look like they might be easy enough to attach.

garage might want to replace the ignition switch and steering lock - but if you need a cheap fix a crimping tool might be enough..
