Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone gotten rid of their worktop appliances?

I've a bit of a thing against my worktop appliances, specifically my kettthem toaster and cooker. Everything else like food processor or air fryer I put away when they aren't being used

But those 3 are used so much it doesn't make sense to put away (and can't in the case of the cooker)

As a result, they all get dirty looking so I have to clean them and around them. I know it's hardly the biggest job ever but it's not like I've a shortage of work to do in the first place

Ideally if I ever do a kitchen remodeling, I'd like to get rid of them if possible and substitute them for something else. I'm thinking of the following

    Kettle - boiling tap instead

Cooker - use oven where possible, portable induction hob or two when I need a cooker

Toaster - not sure about this one, using the grill seems the only option but it's a bit error prone and I might not have the patience

I'm wondering has anyone else done this as well? Did you find life easier/the same or did you go back to your wo
