Christ the saints pick off the packers. Another fumble for the broncos.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,052 ✭✭✭KrustyUCC

Big turnover for the Giants hopefully

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    TD broncos.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    TD dolphins

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Joe judge threw the challenge flag and loses a TO.

    Typical Giants

    Should have had Bridgewater

    Instead concede a TD

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,075 ✭✭✭Christy42

It is bad enough when players are making mental errors like this but for coaches it is just silly. Don't throw a coaches flag on plays called TDs. Just a lack of game awareness.

Joe Judge wasted a TO with a challenge

    That's terrible

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

rodgers threw it up there and it’s picked off.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,052 ✭✭✭KrustyUCC

    Mad pass punt by Rodgers

TD Saints to go 24-3 against the packers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Daniel Jones fumbles the ball and the broncos get the ball back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,052 ✭✭✭KrustyUCC

    Daniel Jones fumble FFS

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,397 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

I know he hasn't even thrown a pass yet but the Giants trading pick #11 to the Bears and not picking Fields themselves was silly. The Broncos got all the hate but at least they got a potential all-pro CB instead. The Giants decision was worse.

Russell Wilson a Giant next season?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,052 ✭✭✭KrustyUCC

That's the type of play that Jones should have got rid of already

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

The packers look off and they turn it over on downs.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Oh that’s a big call and I don’t know where you’re allowed to hit the QB.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,075 ✭✭✭Christy42

I was guessing they were complaining it was late? I mean it wasn't but it was the closest I could see for a penalty

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,052 ✭✭✭KrustyUCC

    BS call on the packers

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,052 ✭✭✭KrustyUCC

    Giants concede 3

    Long way back now 20-7

Yeah it wasn't late IMO. In the eagles game earlier the falcons got called called for a hit out of bounds, and even though it benefited my team it was a poor call. The falcons player barley made contact.

Game set match. The saints have beaten the packers and Jordan love is in the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,333 ✭✭✭el Fenomeno

It's a shame Green Bay never gave the primadonna receivers such as Chris Hogan, Juwan Johnson and Deionte Harris.

Benched for Jordan Love, the source of his hissy fits. You love to see it.

Game over in New Jersey as the broncos score to go up 27-7 with under five minutes to go.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,397 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

The key to the Bears beating Rodgers is obviously to rent a stadium in Florida to play the game there.

If only we had discovered this a decade ago.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

The chiefs are up by four.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Oh the pats have fumbled the ball and the dolphins have the ball with three minutes left and a one point lead.

  • Registered Users Posts: 305 ✭✭CaoimhinCong

Mahomes Tyreke hill pulling it out of the bag for chiefs. Huge second half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,075 ✭✭✭Christy42

    NFC West 3-0 this week

    NFC North 0-3 this week.

Good luck to the Bears against the Rams

Time to check the playoff standings

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,026 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Well if you didn't know it already you now know that Sean Payton is incredible with QB's. Jameis Winston was fantastic tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,026 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

So I see two of the teams projected to be the worst in football this season won. That's the Texans and Eagles.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,397 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

Typical Nagy. Great start with the long run then he completely ruins any momentum by getting cheeky and subbing in Fields. They follow that up with false start and a timeout 3 minutes into the game.

    F**king hell.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Business as usual in KC, despite a little scare and without Clark or Mathieu. Great noise at Arrowhead and the big names got it done.

Mahomes - 337 yards, 4 total TDs and a couple of NFL records

    Kelce - 6 for 76, 2 TDs

    Hill - 11 for 197, TD

    It's good to be back.

The Jags won their opener last year and never won again. So hard to draw conclusions on week 1.

Well the Jets and the Jags both lost, not hard to draw conclusions there.

Giants do have the Bears' first round pick for next year - if the Bears keep starting Dalton and their defense looks as shaky as last night then the Giants could have 2 early picks to play with.

Having said that, those picks won't matter if Gettleman is still their GM

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 217 ✭✭ipitydafool

Or they keep Jason Garrett calling their plays.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,333 ✭✭✭el Fenomeno

    Okay this was pretty funny..

Jalen Mayfield (Offensive Lineman) before the draft this year:

    Jalen Mayfield, Week 1:

I feel for him that's a fairly brutal line to come up against in your first game

That rookie lineman became a turnstile at the end of the game yesterday. I just saw a stat on the eagles message board that Matt Ryan wasn’t at fault for anything that happened to him behind the line. I mean scrambles, hurries, sacks etc. They line unless it improves is going to get Matt Ryan killed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,397 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

It's obviously early but there isn't a single QB coming out that does anything for me. Obviously we'll still end up seeing 3 or 4 go in the first round to desperate teams but I don't think any of them have a ceiling as high as any of the guys drafted in the 1R this year. That could possibly change as the season progresses though.

As it stands, if I was the Giants I'd rather trade for Russ.

Great game tonight, went to 24-24. Carr got them to field goal range with 35 seconds and no timeouts.

Carr doesn't have an offensive line but still doing a really good job. Lamar passing better than I remember him doing previously, he went 18 of 27 for 225 with a TD. Carr 33 of 55 for 435 and 2 TD's.

Looked like the Raiders had it in overtime but it's a half yard short and then Willie Snead deflects it and the Ravens pick it in the end zone. Lamar then fumbles it and the Raiders score a TD to win it. 30-24.

Entertaining game but both have some very obvious issues and OT was a mess.

  • Registered Users Posts: 305 ✭✭CaoimhinCong

Wow what a game!! A great start to MNF.

I dunno how we lost that game.

10-6 somehow. A few risks worked out and a few guarantees were wrong

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,075 ✭✭✭Christy42

I count 9 wins? Bucs, Texans, 49ers, Seahawks, Chargers, Panthers, Broncos, Chiefs, Rams.
