Minimum distance from socket to kitchen sink - 300mm?

I'm planning a kitchen layout at the moment. I'm trying to figure out where the sockets go in relation to the sink. I've seen a distance given of 300mm to edge of sink/draining board. Any posts I'd seen were from around a decade ago. Is this the current regulations? Thanks

I haven’t checked IS10101 but as far as I recall no measurement is provided.
300mm would be far too close for my liking. Where did you see that ??
