Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Looking for recommendations for a stove installer, would prefer recommendations to come from work done that has been done by them for you rather than "My buddy installs stoves" 😁 Thanks!

Pretty sure there was a previous thread on this, anyway we used Fineline, couldn’t fault them, if you Google fineline stoves you’ll find them,

Thanks I'll google them, will they line flu if needed also?

I’d say nearly all registered competent installers line the flue as standard , otherwise they would have to carry out a cctv inspection of chimney first to satisfy themselves the chimney was safe

Had our old fireplace removed, a chamber built and stove, base and beam, lining etc put in by treaty fireplaces on John st over the summer. John was the guy who owns it and looked after us. V knowledgeable and helpful and gave us exactly what we were looking for as opposed to flogging us ranges we didn’t want or need and did an excellent finish.

ive no affiliation with them and only found through google but would be happy to share any pix or further info if you want by PM.
