In typical boards fashion.... there's absolutely no way you know any of this - nor are you remotely qualified to weigh in.

Nobody on boards is "qualified" to know anything

    It's an opinion

Gotta laugh at the email sent to STHs telling people to wear masks and don't congregate at bars tomorrow...like either are going to happen.

Felt the odd one out wearing a mask in the Aviva.

Yeah I left mine on, hadn’t thought about it beforehand but didn’t quite feel comfortable taking it off with so many close around.

I think Osborne is a better center than fb! Fb is loaded right now. He will develop over the coming months and I think Leinster will keep him at center. He could probably do a job at 12!

Unexpectedly unable to get to this game last minute. Have two south stand unreserved tickets to offload. Free to whoever wants them. Only condition is that you're an occasional poster here on the forum. Just PM me your email address. Tomorrow at 1pm, RDS.

    [edit, gone!]

    That's Pennys trademark try.

That's a great finish from Larmour. No idea how he powered through that traffic.

That’s a good finish by Larmour

Harry Byrne not great at all so far be it kicking from the tee or hand. Hopefully get it out of his system.

Great to see Adam byrne looking good so far.

Harry Byrne took a huge impact on his side. Now he's in big bother.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,172 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    That's awful for Byrne.

Was looking excellent with ball in hand and attacking the line well.

Harry Byrne can’t get any luck at all. Very disappointed for him, he can never get game time to push on.

Thats a pity, he needed opportunities to get those early errors cancelled out. They'll gnaw at him now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,219 ✭✭✭A-Train

That new held up law is so stupid, no reward for an attacking team

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,172 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Leinster really aren't playing that well. Better than last week, but we keep giving the ball up in pivotal areas.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,219 ✭✭✭A-Train

Agree I’m hoping it’s early season issues. Don’t look great at all, no real spark.

Leinster look a bit tired, wouldn't be surprised if they're maintaining a high mid week workrate through this block of easier fixtures.

Did Frawley just go off? Heard the stadium announcer mention his name, but the commentators haven't said anything.

Just a penalty for me, but can understand why it crosses the threshold for a yellow by the laws.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,172 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Rob Russell on for Frawley according to Leinsters Twitter account. Hopefully that's just because the result is secure and we want to give Russell minutes.

Don't want another scenario where Harry Byrne and Frawley are injured at the same time.

Lovely kick by Sexton for Adam Byrnes second try.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,172 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Frawley went off 5 minutes ago and Nugent just noticed now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,788 ✭✭✭accensi0n

Serious not caring about your body tackle by McCarthy there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,172 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Leinster are definitely trying to play a faster game. Seeing a lot more offloads and linking passes than in previous seasons which is keeping attacks going. We're also playing very close to the gainline and trying to ship the ball on quickly to change the point in attack.

The biggest issue is execution. Lots of offloads not going to hand, and knock ons when playing gainline ball. But it's an encouraging shift in style and when it clicks it could be the evolution that brings the team to the next level.

    Penny off injured.

Games turned into a but if a disaster on that front.

A lot of Leinster backs getting smashed in the tackle. Drawing the tackler really opens up space for the other outside backs but it comes at a cost to their own physical health.

    Another poor enough performance.

The only difference from last week was we were at home and the conditions were better.

But for a team that prides itself on being skilful, the number of handling errors was criminal.

    Lineout misfired once again.

If Sexton gets injured we may as well call off the season
