I miss Henry McKeans ma and the Howyas that used to have a slot on the Moncreif show.

Why did Gerald Keane drop off the radio? I presume with the likes of Finucane gone there was no one to invite him?

All are pushing on in years and David Norris has had health problems.

Adrian Kennedy I couldn’t stand, stench of falseness off him, completely disingenuous, same as that Chris Barry fella although Barry was a slight bit more likable as he had a sense of humor and witty and a bit more tongue in cheek , just a pair of wind up merchants, multiple repeat callers using multiple names obviously given an angle to take and get a rise out of the listeners and ‘genuine’ callers.

Brenda Donohoe still features on Countrywide on Saturday mornings occasionally, though not as often as in the past. Mary Louise O'Donnell seems to have left the building though.

Yeah, she didn’t agree with what he said, it was a question around personal responsibility that was taken as victim blaming but she did back him and didn’t believe he should have to resign. They were, and I assume still are, good friends.

I think Hook’s remarks came hot on the heels of an “implied consent” one he made during a previous discussion and that added fuel to the case against him.

Barry Lang, 2FM.. went from a radio DJ to airline pilot... reading he was made redundant from his job and has done a bit of radio again...
