I was hoping that there would a place in the app to write those codes and we could use the drive-thru.

But if I am not mistaken these codes will work only via the self-service machine.

Tried to use in store at a counter bit couldntvso had to use the self service terminal last night. No big deal.

The adult and kids meal combo for €8 often works in the drive thru ok, no code or showing app needed (just say you have in the app of they ask at the order stage).

Re Drive Thru, they will not ask you for your phone. One staff member said they can't handle your phone, due to Covid etc. I don't believe they have any way for you to scan your phone at the window.

This might change but every time I used drive thru they just ask you what deal at the speaker, then take your payment at the window.

Only just noticed the 1 euro medium fries on the list. Pity it doesnt work or you could get a Big Mac and fries for 3 euro.

The 2 euro Big Mac is still a great deal. I looked at the in store price list and they are 4.30 on their own so getting it for 2 quid with the code is pretty decent.

The 9 nugget one worked for me yesterday...you cant use more than one code per transaction at the self service terminals. I ordered the adult and kids meal as one order then the nuggets as another.

So.. my 2¢s

For me, the best value for 2ppl and a toddler is to get 2x bigmacs/¼lbs or 3 chicken select, and a cheese burger and fries.

Total €6

Bring your own drink

(Maybe add some apple pies for €1 each)

*The chips are shyt , and you'll only want a few anyway.

Or 2 EV meals for €12 (no ice) & a hamburger for €1

Quick question, when I try to do the Cheeseburger and chips for two euro on the takeaway self service, I can input the code but it then forces me to customize further.

I cannot go past that screen abd complete order button can't be pressed. Am I missing something?.

Normally there is an option (or not) to customise the burger. There should have been an 'Add to Order' button down the bottom right of the screen (it is almost below waist level if you are tall).

Or else the touchscreen you were using might have had a software glitch, better to try a different one. If it is still forcing you to customise the cheesburger you could just add some extra ketchup or lettuce (both are free AFAIR) to get to the Pay menu
