Buying Art Online Question

I buy a good bit of art, same as you describe here. Usually it will be from a known (in my circles at least) artist. I tend to PayPal, but the amounts are maximum £750 ish a page so you might be way above that (without being nosy!).

In general, a solid, long term web presence and absence of the usual warning signs is proof enough for me.

I collect original art rather than prints or photos, mostly pen and ink, some watercolour gouache, pencils etc. I didn't realise this was the photography board when I saw the OP. 😅

Some lovely images on that site though, capturing an image is truly a skill that goes unappreciated by most. My Father in Law is a keen photographer, particularly of dogs. I've seen the amount of hours put in to capture a single shot! Great dedication.
