Recommendation for VR

Hi.

This one isnt for me but a work colleague is looking for a Gaming PC for his son who wants to get into VR

So the headset is a Oculus Quest 2

Typically Id recommend just building one but parts and specially GPUs are really hard to get so maybe it's easier to buy a pre-built PC

Budget is 1000 - 1300 (lower the better)

Any recommendations?

Isn't the Quest 2 an all in one? So a computer isn't required for playing games?

AIO being the operative word. Fantastic Standalone games but if you want to play PCVR games of much higher graphical quality and scope you need a PC….and OP is advised to get one with an nVidia GPU as it plays better with Quest 2 and Oculus Link or Oculus Airlink. ie. the nVenc encoders of the nVidia cards help a tonne with the video encoding required to transmit PCVR games to the Quest 2 wirelessly or via a USB Type C cable.
