Just wondering if anyone has used the bitcoin ATM,s and if so would you recommend them for purchasing bitcoin. Had you any problems or things to look out for...cheers

It's probably the worst way to buy BTC. The fees are usually outrageous (5%-12%) and the spreads between buy and sell prices are huge. Well at least that's how it used to be so I'm not sure if has improved recently. I'm sure there is information available online which gives a breakdown of fees etc for all the BTC ATMs in Ireland. But you're better off purchasing from a proper exchange.

They might want to buy some anonymously though, which is why people pay the extortionate ATM fees
