Tsimikas is now the cheapest player in the entire game despite him having more points than his entire price bracket and for much above it which is pretty quirky.

He could be a good enabler if Ronaldo or Kane get back on form. Could put him first sub over Xmas.

I was thinking that myself he could be a 3.7 player. And Robertson is likely to be rested the odd time. Only thing is getting Tsimikas uses up a Liverpool spot.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Salah, Trent and Jota are just too valuable right now to waste a spot on Tsimikas. If Robertson gets injured though he will be an unreal pick.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,882 ✭✭✭✭gormdubhgorm

I could get him though. Only have Salah - plan to avoid Jota (because I can see Firmino nearing fitness) and made other plans.

Salah and Mane are fecking off for AFCOM soon. Kloop might not rush Fermino back to make sure he is fully fit. He won't want him getting injured again whilst they are away. Jota will probably get game time while they are away as well so I'm thinking Jota is good to have until they come back.

  • Registered Users Posts: 18,882 ✭✭✭✭gormdubhgorm

Yeah you are right I forgot all about the ACON - good point. You are making me reconsider Jota now. Who else has Klopp got only Minamino and Origi.

The AFCON will be one to watch. Already Liverpool and others are trying to negotiate their players only missing two PL games. Meaning Salah will be on a lot of benches for a couple of weeks if that plays out. Also the whole Covid situation playing out, it might yet give PL clubs a legitimate reason not to send their players, it could be another UEFA v FIFA battle like we saw with the South Americans back in Sept/October.

    Don't really understand Livramento dropping.

Started as a 4.0 defender and playing week in, week out.

Is that folks moving to a big 5 at the back?

  • Moderators, Education Moderators, Technology & Internet Moderators Posts: 35,099 Mod ✭✭✭✭AlmightyCushion

He got 0 points last week and 1 point the week before so could be people kneejerking him out. Some might be replacing him with Johnson to bank some cash but I think that is a terrible idea as he could lose his place to Coufal at any time. Going big on 5ATB is the only logical reason to get rid of him. He's cheap, playing bench fodder that actually gets clean sheets sometimes and the odd assist or goal. He's a bargain at 4m

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,682 ✭✭✭✭Muahahaha

It must be people going 5ATB. Some going triple Chelsea +TAA & Cancelo. Ive a rival in a ML with triple Chelsea and its high risk high reward stuff, either 18 points or 6 each week. He got done badly by both Burnley and United scoring against them. Now that Alonso will be getting a run I dont think triple Chelsea is a good idea given the amount of time he spends out of position.

The Livra drop caught me by surprise as well but it doesnt really matter as he looks like a season long keeper. He is perfect for 4 at the back and him as first sub.

It's not completely unforeseen that people will have bought Tsimikas at 4.0, sold him at 4.2, for Livramento at 4.0 and banked 0.1 in the process.

Now with their respective prices, if Robertson gets injured, we could have the same people selling Livramento at 4.5, banking 0.2 for Tsimikas at 3.8.

Would be a nice turn of events for team value!

If Robertson gets injured I will definitely replace Livramento with Tsimikas. He would be great to have at that time and his value would surely sky rocket.
