Henry Dummer sending me email

I got an email from him today, about SCA

and I dont even have a BOI account.

Whats this about, before I contact the Gardai to report online fraud.

And dont tell me to just delete the email.

If this is a fraud, I want you to fully investigate how they have my email address.

Its from info@boimail.com

its everything to do with BOI.

The From/Reply To fields are controlled entirely by the sender. It's the equivalent of a "return address" on an envelope. You've basically just received a letter from "Unknown" that says "I'm from BOI". There is literally nothing that BOI can do about it

By all means report it to the Gardaí. But don't expect them to launch a full-scale raid on BOI's IT centre because they, like everyone else, are fully aware that BOI aren't behind this.
