How to restore voicemail on an android

Morto here. Last weekend, w/ a few whiskies on me, I was watching youtube and a video popped up about android codes. I put one in that IIRC checks for call forwarding. There was one number in the list, which was almost my mobile phone number except with one extra digit. I deleted it. No, I can't remember the code.

Turns out that was for voicemail and now people can't leave messages.

How I do set voicemail back up again? (GoMo if that makes any difference.)

Did you try dialling 171 to see if it's still set up.

The extra digit is 5 so : 08551234567 see if you can access/enable through this.

Thanks. I just tried that. It's still set up.

Yes, if I add the 5 there it goes to my voicemail. I left a message for myself. About a minute later I got a message on my phone saying I had a voicemail, which was the one I had just left.

However, I also tried ringing the phone from another phone and it's still not going through to voicemail automatically. It just rings and rings... weird.

these instructions show you how to enable call forwarding. The wording on your phone might be exactly as it is here. On mine the menu says "Settings" instead of "call settings" but they should be enough for you. dont forget to add the 5 to the number you are forwarding to. you want the conditional call forwarding setup for when busy, unanswered or unreachable.
