    complete noob here

    got my son a ps5 disc edition , he was using a ps4

    will the ps4 controllers work with ps5 ? ( seeing as he only gets one with the console )

    also his sony gamming account is due for renewal in the middle of Jan , do we need a completely new one because he will be using a PS5 or can we just use the same account and download onto new console ?

    PS4 controller will only work with PS4 games on the PS5, so any new games depending on what he plays will be out of the question

    He does not need a new account, sign into the same account and everything that was there before will be there again. Any digital game he had on PS4 he will be able to download on his PS5
