I’ve tried signing up to that but no confirmation email (which is needed to activate the account) nearly an hour later.

Has it been out long? Wonder is it a rush job by the PDC

I tried lost password and was able to reset and login, not sure if you'll get time though.

    Officially Christmas now.

Don't think there will be any shocks with tonight's games unless Lewis gets dragged into a scrappy match with Campbell

Campbell is well able to beat Lewis. Although Lewis is favourite it could be a close one.

First match could go either way too.

I'm just delighted it's finally Christmas!

Is it just me but has John P lost a ton of weight in a short period of time?

Think the same with Lewis too. Always a good few shocks early doors every year

Looks like quite a few ticket holders have decided to give it a miss.

A lot of the early nights are office Christmas party nights, many of which have been cancelled, so we might see a lot of empty seats - and maybe an empty venue after Christmas.

Great start there - wrong walk on music for the first guy!

I always think "madhouse" when I look at this guy right enough...

Lewis already panicking with his finishing. Campbell throwing very steady

Jesus Lewis is an absolute shadow of the player he once was. Incredible

How many 5s does Campbell hit!

Good to see Lewis get through but I reckon Anderson will make short work of him the next day

    Pyke is very annoying.

Any time someone wins he describes it as 'the biggest of their career'.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,742 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Scrappy enough in the end. Lewis will need to do better with his finishes when he plays Anderson . Campbell will be decent on the tour next year

I'd say most of the international qualifiers are complete unknowns. I'd say a lot of them have not played in major events so its anyone's guess what they are like. There is the occasional story like Sherrock or Malicdem almost beating Wright but there isn't going to be a Deller emerging to win it out. The qualifiers haven't really made much of a dent in Ally Pally through the years.

Some reaction from the crowd for Price. He looked a bit put out by it!

I'd say if Sherrock gets through to face him he'll be booed out of the building.

Price is all over the shop.

Edhouse is playing some great stuff. Big set that for Price with the crowd in his back.

I was expecting this to be a walkover!

Brave performance from Edhouse but Price just got better as the match went on.

Big day tomorrow of Irish darts with O'Connor and Lennon playing.

Also this guy is playing in the afternoon session:

Haha I’ve never seen that before.

    Part looked mortified, hilarious stuff.

Would not be surprised if Gurney and Gary Anderson lose tomorrow

I agree. I also think Ashton has a good chance if she plays anyway decently. Ron M is not exactly a superstar and i think he may fall victim to the crowd

Lennon got out of jail there with a 10 double 1 fair play to him with the recovery didn't panic 2-1 up in sets now.
