Seeing as this is the week 18 thread I’ll ask the question here. If players break single season records this weekend with an extra game do you think there should be an asterisk next to them ? I personally don’t because if that was the case then every record since 1978 would have to have one. It’s a single season record, not a 12/14/16/17 game record so I don’t think there should be any asterisk or anything else attached to it.

Drew Lock running all over the Chiefs

14-10 broncos at the half. Given how the opening drive for the broncos went I wasn’t expecting them to be ahead. What does a potential broncos win for the playoffs permutations if anything does anyone know ?

Melvin Gordon TD broncos go back in front 21-17.

Think it means the Chiefs are out of the running for the number 1 seed, could drop as low as 4 seed. Titans still need to beat Texans to secure #1 if Cinci or Buffalo win.

Chiefs would still have the division but this would bring Cincinnati and New England into play for #1 seed. Patriots unlikely given they'd need Jets to beat Buffalo. I think.

The chiefs have had two penalties in a row.

This is insane, where are the Broncos getting a performance like this from? You'd have expected for a lot of them to be taking it easy in this game.

Chiefs in serious danger of losing the no.1 seed and the huge advantage of a bye week.

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,275 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

I think Melvin Gordon had his last play for the season right there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,735 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

Wow. Broncos marched down the field then that. Turns the game on its head.

  • Registered Users Posts: 606 ✭✭✭Kev8360

that was a huge play for the chiefs

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,874 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Come on Denver you need to hold onto the ball.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,874 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    Nice response from Denver.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,874 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Nice catch. Fair play to Denver for not just giving up.

FG Denver so chiefs leads by 4 and the broncos faithful aren’t happy.

I've barely seen the Broncos all year. Look like they are a QB away from being serious contender.

Chiefs and Mahomes don't look like the fearsome prospect of the last few years.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,874 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

No the chiefs haven’t looked as good as the last few years. Yes they are 11-5 but there was a very rough patch during the season.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,874 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

First down chiefs and that’s the ball game. The chiefs will likely win but if the broncos didn’t fumble the ball the chiefs were in trouble.

Why the hell would any American take any medication given the horrible potential side effects.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,874 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

If the chiefs play like this in the playoffs I can’t see them going far in the playoffs.

The important game is up next.

And yet Fangio is on a really hot seat according to Rapoport. Really sucks the way the league is now with a coach's success almost being entirely dependent on the QB he has because Fangio is excellent. Gone are the days where you could have a below average QB but be a legitimate contender with a mean defense and strong run game.

If Fangio does get fired he'll probably go wherever Harbaugh goes, unless he stays at Michigan. It'd be really interesting if both team up in Vegas (but I hope it's in Chicago...)

Hopefully tonight isn’t this Eagles legends last game at the Linc.

10-7 Dallas after one quarter. Dallas got away with a blatant OPI call.

Dallas should win here but its a really bad look for them. Also whoever phillys backup qb is the best qb in the nfl
