She's had a couple of tough draws but then again if you want to be on the tour then you need to show that you can beat these players. She's in danger of not even getting through Stage 1 now. Sky are getting very anxious....

Gavin Carlin in a top64 match at the mo. John o Shea set to join him at that stage. Nellie brouder and Shane mcguirk (v Wes Newtown) both playing in round of 128 at the moment

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,595 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Carlin loses 5-4, Brouder also out.

    Shane McGurik beats Wes Newton

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,030 ✭✭✭boomdocker

There's no way she'll get anywhere near the premier League if she can't get through q school

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,595 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

John O Shea playing now for a place in phase 2. He probably has enough points to make it anyway though

As always, Dartsrankings have an excellent live table to see who is in contention of making stage 2.

    Here's the UK list:

Probably going to be a few players not playing tomorrow because they'll reckon they're through on OOM points

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,982 ✭✭✭Degag

Still wouldn’t be surprised if Sky pick her. All they’re worried about is number of viewers and social media mentions etc.

Lets face it, she probably gets more of each than the likes of James Wade or Jose de Sousa.

Why is there a bunch of people with 0 points and 0 sets played.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,440 ✭✭✭✭Rikand

And Ryan Hogarth has qualified and only broke average 80 in one match out of the 5 matches he played today

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,294 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

Either they had to withdraw or they'll show up and play today because you only need to play one day to be eligible to play on the Challenge Tour.

Fallon shares same board with Ross Montgomery, Wes Newton, John Bowles and Irish player Sean McGowan

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,294 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

I'm fairly sure she needs to win her board to get to Stage 2.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,769 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Irish player Shane McGuirk knocks out John Part

Fallon into provisional qualifying spot. Healthy leg difference might see her through

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,294 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

Remember that 8 players ahead of her will automatically qualify so that will push her up the table too. I think a 5-3 or 5-4 loss in next round might be enough. A win obviously guarantees she goes through.

She'll be playing either BDO stalwart Ross Montgomery or Wes Newton in next match.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,595 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

She is 4-1 up on newton and going through to next phase.

McGuirk lost his t64 tie but think he makes it anyway

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,128 ✭✭✭Fattybojangles

Will Richie Burnett make it does anyone know? I see he averaged 112 in a game earlier.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,769 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Burnett should be safe as long as he doesn't lose heavily in his current game.

Culleton, McGuirk and Carlin all through on oom

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,769 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Going by PDC twitter page Ritchie Burnett is carrying a leg injury. He didn't bother playing final round game today

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,769 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Fallon Sherrock draws Danny Lauby first game

    Rowby-John out in R1 in Eu Q-School.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,769 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Sedlacek out as well. The guys from the first phase have brought up their averages

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,595 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Michael Flynn and Conor Heneghan win their first matches. Heneghan beating McDine. For those who follow his youtube channel, Matt Edgar wins his first round game also.

Niall Culleton loses at first round stage

  • Moderators, Society & Culture Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 12,294 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kingp35

As far as I know, no points are given for winning a L128 match, points are from L64 wins only.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,769 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Burnett Scott Waites very good game so far. Both averaging mid 90s

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,595 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Fallon hammered by Danny Lauby. Lauby was averaging over a hundred until final leg

Josh Rock through as well with 97 average

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,595 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Gavan Carlin beats Jamie Lewis and Ciaran teehan also through

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,769 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

His eldest brother, Roxy, is still going despite a load of 70/80 averages

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,595 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Ciaran Teehan, Conor Henghan, Michael Flynn all out in last 6. Flynn losing to Mickey Mansell who had a 101 average.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,595 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

couple of more positive results from an ROI perspective with Gavin Carlin and Shane McGuirk going through to the last 32

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,769 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

Josh Rock and Nathan Rafferty gone. Carlin and McGuirk have got their first OOM points

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,030 ✭✭✭boomdocker

Am I right in saying the format is slightly different this year in that only the days winner automatically goes through?

I'm sure previously it was the two winning semi finalists that went through i.e. there was no 'final' played

Yep, winner only each day gets a card this year. Then the top 13 in UK OOM and top 11 in EU OOM will get a card.

    Lisa Ashton through to L32.

He played class all day. Won the final with a 104 average. Well deserved.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,595 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

    Mickey Mansell out last 16

Richie Burnett in QF at the moment as is Kevin Burness who plays James Wilson

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,769 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

I'd say Lewy Williams will have to find a new nickname if Ritchie Burnett wins a card

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,769 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

James Wilson wins the UK one

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,030 ✭✭✭boomdocker
