Him & harry to biggest bolloxs to come out of the royal family both spares to the heir, no wonder Charles was raging when Diana had harry he knew the type of arse holes the spare develop into with no role in the future. |They should tell the spares they have to get a job and have to work only if the heir dies can they give up work. But no they let them ponce about from party to party and fanny to fanny. Well as a girl i am glad to say the fannies have truly messed them up he he he no more then they deserve.

I'm sure legal advice was sought before the outcome of Randy's attempt to have the case dismissed, and that this would have to happen if the case was going to court. It would be a PR disaster to have him enjoy all the privileges and titles.

He's looking even more guilty now. I can't wait to hear the medical evidence about his temporary inability to sweat and how he was in a Pizza Hut that didn't exist at the time.

Is it not a bit unfair to stick Harry into the same pot as Prince Andrew. Andrew will be in Court defending against a very serious allegation. There is no such allegation made against Harry.

In any capacity ? I know it’s the queens call but this drastic move has all the signs of Charles and William getting it done now and not having to deal with in a few years.

  • Registered Users Posts: 728 ✭✭✭bertiebomber

They both seriously lack judgement where women are concerned....both got fucked over by women and made fools of on the world stage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,021 ✭✭✭✭anewme

Ohh, those pesky wimmins are responsible! Terrible what a hussey can make a good man do.

I do feel sorry for the Queen in all this, wasnt Andrew her favourite son, she would want to believe him so removing his Titles must have been a tough decision.

  • Registered Users Posts: 728 ✭✭✭bertiebomber

i agree totally with you she is very sad tonight so much blight on her near perfect reign by these losers. They deserve to be on a chain gang breaking stones for a year to teach them some humility. Hussey's haven't heard that word in along time we are on the same page ha ha !

As someone on Twitter said, it's fairly telling that he's being stripped of his titles and stuff now only after the trial was given the go ahead, but before the trial even happens. They know the damage is done. Whatever hope they had of keeping Andy out of the public eye if it was determined the trial couldn't go ahead is gone. Now, he's being thrown under the bus. They'll support him financially, but they've very clearly pushed him out because whether settlement or trial, he's done.

I'd say they'll try settle it before any deposition can happen.

This is an incredibly weird take - 'lack judgment where women are concerned' - on a situation where one of two people is accused of sexually abusing a teenager.

  • Registered Users Posts: 728 ✭✭✭bertiebomber

yes any decent grown up married man with daughters would seriously question young girls being passed around for desert by aging wealthy gorgoyles, and Harry he is guilty of dragging some trailor trash into the house of windsor like a pedigree family pet cat bringing in a big rat to the drawing room.

Oul Randy Andy is absolutely up to his neck in it now.

About time. I am a fan of the royal family but he is a disgusting human being. Everything you hear about him plays into that. Not just his dodgy friends and behaviours, but his unbelievable arrogance and entitlement. There’s no love lost for him across the armed forces. Contrast him to Edward (and Sophie)…..hard to believe they’re the same family.

It’s a civil case in America. Not a criminal case. So far. The defense will go through all the motions. Take time. Then settle without an admission of guilt. That’s my unqualified guess.

A comparable couple of situations, all right. 🙄

He won't be happy losing the titles, but sure with a bit of luck he might regain the ability to sweat.

Interesting wording on the statement that he'll be defending this as a private citizen.

Sounds like they are trying to emphasise that it will be private wealth and not public funds that will fund his defence and subsequent ££ settlement. But also means that he can't hide behind diplomatic entitlements any more, doesn't it?

It's the only thing the Firm could do really. This has the potential to destabilise or topple the monarchy- it still does but at least this way they can point to distancing themselves from him.

Except it doesn't really go far enough. He's still a prince. He's still a Duke. He's still in the line of succession. He's still a HRH, but just not supposed to use it on his letterhead. He will still have this defence funded by the very best legal team thanks to the Queen. He can still offer massive amounts of compensation courtesy of the Queen's private bank account. He's still got his high military rank. He'll still live in a fancy tax-payer funded gaff on royal grounds, presumably still have royal protection.

Harry got a far less lucrative deal when he chose to leave the RF - and his only crime was he didn't want to work for the family business any more.

this is a civil case. any diplomatic immunity is irrelevant. there was never any question of public funds being use to fund his defence or pay a settlement.

He really seems like a horrible individual.

I rather like the below story.

Prince Philip’s media nickname “Phil The Greek” wasn’t just confined to the press. For a while, “The Greek” was also the secret code name by which his police protection officers referred to him.

Less interesting: the Queen’s code name was “Purple One”.

More interesting: Prince Andrew’s was “The C#nt”.

He was also a full working member of the Royal Family when the alleged offences occurred, and for decades after even with the allegations being public knowledge. It was only when he ran out of road that he's now under the bus. The RF can't wash their hands of it, his actions will always be forever tied to his position and privilege as a member of the RF. Not to mention the photos that were shown during Maxwell's trial of her and Epstein at the Queen's lodge in Balmoral (or one of her other estates, can't remember which), and the numerous events/weddings they were at as his guests.

Epstein/Maxwell would have used their connections to Prince Andrew as a way to form connections to other rich/powerful persons. Again, that's a stink that sticks to the RF no matter how much they push Andrew out.

  • Registered Users Posts: 728 ✭✭✭bertiebomber

harrys crime was just as bad he brought an infection into the house of Windsor that has spread world wide so both he & andrew should be taken off the succession line and banished to oblivion & told to sort themselves out. They are both knuckle heads & not worthy of any perks in the Royal household as they abused their positions and their staff too utter cnuts by all accounts.

  • Registered Users Posts: 728 ✭✭✭bertiebomber

You have to question the woman too she got paid off and agreed not to follow any other men legally why was andrew not part of this ? Was epstein secretly an anti establishment type & not protecting andrew was his subtle way of upsetting the apple cart. Any man can work hard and be a billionaire but not every man is born a prince. Is there another message in this whole fiasco?

She had prince Andrew snared like a rabbit facing car headlights by her photo...he was a sitting duck from then on

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,537 ✭✭✭✭ohnonotgmail

yeah the poor lad was led on by a 17 year old.

That photo suggests nothing really untowards him.... Maxwell also in the photo.. now a convicted procurer is the connection that could suggest intent

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,537 ✭✭✭✭ohnonotgmail

thankfully nobody has suggested that the photo alone shows anything untoward.

Prince Andrew: Has sex with trafficked teen provided to him by friends who are revealed to have been trafficking and abusing young girls for several years

Prince Harry: Marries woman some people don't like

Roberts said she was sexually assaulted that evening

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,537 ✭✭✭✭ohnonotgmail

does she say that the photo showed an assault?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,367 ✭✭✭JimmyVik

Im curious to know what is the burden of proof here.

Is a picture all that she has?

Just saying this because I know of a case in Ireland where the guy was arrested for a sexual assault on a girl. He is still suffering the after effects of the accusation. And she has got away with it.

He was for 3 days the talk of the town. Eventually CCTV was located to show him smoking in the doorway where she said he assaulted her and her coming out, talking for a few minutes and her coming on to him and him pushing her off and walking away and getting into a taxi, then she went back inside and went home with her friends where later on she told one of them she had been assaulted and they went to the police, but the damage was done. He will always be the town rapist to some people.

it is a civil case so it is on the balance of probabilities.

It strengthens her case substantially as she already said Maxwell encouraged her to oblige/persue...no doubting Maxwell was also there.... he's no doubt fully guilty of his association with Maxwell and the consequences that will follow.

It will be interesting to see what way he handles the trial and whether or not he travels to the US to go into the witness box and defend himself. His other option is to be cross examined in London and the tape played in court, that option isnt great for him either when a central part of his defence is that he never met Giuffre. His third option is just to ignore the trial altogether but that will look even worse for him and there will still be a judgement made, likely against him.

After the BBC interview that he thought had gone well (🤣🤣) he'd be better off trying to settle or ignoring it if he can.

He was clearly uncomfortable at times during that relatively soft interview when he had already seen the questions, he'd be unlikely to do better under cross examination.

Whatever the photo does or doesn’t suggest, you’ve got to assume that Andrew doesn’t have a brain cell in his head.

he is a member of the royal family and let’s himself get photographed with an underage girl. Like what t f? He’s a moron

You're right, of course. But I thought the interview by Maitlis was pure class - the iron fist in the velvet glove,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,949 ✭✭✭✭Zebra3

Arrogance. Never thought he’d be held accountable for his actions.

Happily best mates with a convicted sex offender. Most people would drop someone like that. Windsor didn’t. His choice.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,688 ✭✭✭✭Muahahaha

It was some job by Maitlis.. What was even more astoinishing is that after the interview was over Andrew gave her a bit of a tour of the Palace and he said to her that he was very happy with the way the interview went, he really was that deluded.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen! I wonder how he feels to an object of ridicule. At least Fergies sin was to let someone suck her toes in broad daylight.

Delighted for him!! It couldn't have happened to a nicer man! LMAO! 😂

Andrew in heaps more trouble now going by reports in todays Telegraph & Guardian. The Telegraph says Giuffres lawyers want to cross examine Princess Beatrice about her birthday party in Pizza Express. They also report she cant remember it (she would have been 11 at the time). Further they want to ask her if she has ever seen her father sweat. Then Andrews assistant is also been lined up for cross examination becasue his phone number was found in Epsteins little black book so they reckon he was a go between for everything Andrew was up to in Epsteins underage brothels. Then on top of all that they are also making noises about wanting to cross examine Prince Charles. Im not sure of what the link there is but the future King of England being cross examined by a New York court would be complete box office and an absolute media circus.

There is serious pressure being cranked up now. No doubt Prince Charles will be raging that he might get dragged into this and Princess Beatrice doesnt seem able to corroborate this Pizza Express story so her testimony would go against her father. It all makes it more likely that Andrew will now choose to ignore the case altogether and suffer a judgement against him in default. That way he doesnt have to publicly apologise and avoids members of the Royal Family being cross examined as well as himself. The whole world will see him as guilty but thats probably his least worst option right now becasue if he defends it he can be found guilty and drag members of the Royal Family into the witness box.

Anyone else notice Prince Andrew was all over the papers in 1982 with Koo Stark and 40 years later he's still all over the papers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 781 ✭✭✭cap.in.hand.

And koo stark staunchly defends him as well as fergie and more than likely Ghislaine Maxwell would do the same

You’d think there’d be security records of Windsor being at Pizza Express if he actually was....
