    Bad drop there.

    Unreal interception

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,156 ✭✭✭✭Foxtrol

Interception was amazing but doesn't happen if you swap QBs - Jones' arm left that hang in the air which let the safety get across, it is the difference in an elite power from a QB. Having said that Agholor should have still grabbed it.

With that second score there by the Bills there is huge pressure now for the Patriots to get something from this drive. Unless something changes it looks like the Bills will score every time they get the ball - doubt a shootout is where Bill wanted to be

Patriots looking like they want to be anywhere else but playing right now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,978 ✭✭✭standardg60

Yep looking like a wipeout before halftime

This is embarrassing from New England, its really bad. They look unprepared, no leadership in evidence, receivers dropping passes, no resistence on defense and I don't know what Jones expected to happen faking a spike there.

I was content to view this season as a success as I didn't expect the playoffs this year. But this spectacular December/January collapse takes a hell of a lot of shine off it. I'm off to bed.

New England is still in a really good position, great coach, looks like a really good QB, decent roster and should be able to push on next season, tonight has been really disappointing though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,156 ✭✭✭✭Foxtrol

Wow, kicking a field goal down 24 is a decision... Seems like there has been no urgency at all from the Patriots tonight from their punting early onwards.

Agree with the others that they look decent going into next year but not that much cap space and guys they'll need to pay. Lots of good, not many stars to build around

Well that was a tough night but in all honesty just making the playoffs was a great achievement with a rookie QB and a lot of inexperienced players.

I feel we need to fix the right side of the offensive line first and then try find a wide receiver. We are not that far off.

Bills looked exceptional tonight, when they play like that they are close to unbeatable. Josh Allen is a great QB.

Well that’s not a shock. Problematic is a nice way of putting it. There was long conferences after several plays when there was no need and as referenced the whistle on the bengals TD was the icing on the cake. Jerome boger has never stuck me as a referee fully in control of a game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,156 ✭✭✭✭Foxtrol

Like the game last night, Eagles need to show something on this next drive or we can nearly put a fork in this one.

OL injuries huge for the Bucs going forward though. They seem blessed with OL health the last 2 years

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,533 ✭✭✭✭castletownman

I always get the impression that he is constanly confused and stumbles his words. Definitely the least authorative of the referees.

Looking at the box score of the Bills-Pats game, Bills hit seven touchdowns without a single FG, and didn't have a player that rushed or caught for over 100 yards. Knox had the most receptions with five.

    Insane.

Well the defence has woken up at least towards the end of the half. I’m not sure what Devonta smith did to be barley targeted in 30 minutes of football.

Hurts is poor today. Very inaccurate

Jalen hurts and jalen reagor should be made to walk home. **** useless.

    Jalen hurts is a disaster.

This is the 2nd year in a row the extra NFC wild card team has been dicked in the expanded playoffs. The games just aren't fun to watch.

    More doesn't always mean better.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Not that it would make any real difference but just bench hurts because he’s awful.

Hopefully this game will be a better contest!

That’s what I’m taking about San Fran.

That opening drive and TD was sexy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

FG Niners but kittle was wide open.

Looking very good for the 9ers so far.

I don't understand what the Cowboys are at. The niners are playing with one high safety, they've attempted two passes over ten yards, one was caught for a first down, the second caught too but called back fur a penalty. Niners are very weak in the secondary, you gotta throw the ball deep a bunch to push them back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    10-0 Niners after first quarter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    TD cowboys 13-7.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

FG Niners 16-7 late first half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

That glare from the sun is hurting the cowboys.

It's their own stadium, should be used to it's nuances. Decent viewing that half, a contest at least :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

**** stupid penalty from the Niners.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

Sun shouldn't be an issue for most of second half with sunset soon. Unfortunate for Wilson, should've been a handy reception.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Stupid rule over the scoreboard in Dallas. It’s not the Niners fault if the cowboys punter hits it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,026 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Dak has been very poor, it's the difference between the truly elite QB's and those not quite elite. There is pressure but you can't be upset and hurried by it like Dak is. You'd never see Brady, Rodgers or Mahomes doing what Dak is at.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,397 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

This staduim is so sh*te. The sun blinds the offense and the video board interferes with play. Two massive flaws despite spending over a billion building it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

As was pointed out at the half time version report. Why was it built east-west ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Joey bosa is out for the game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,397 ✭✭✭✭Oat23

Just put up shutters and it's solved. Jerry Jones seems to be very sensitive when it comes to his stadium though and has insisted several times in the past that the sun isn't a problem when it clearly is. Acknowledging that there is a problem now would hurt his ego.

ray Charles could tell you the sun is an issue.

INT Dallas. Oh SF i love ye.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

Oh deebo Samuel you special human being. TD niners.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,212 ✭✭✭The_Honeybadger

Deebo Samuel is some weapon. that’s the game surely

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

    Very poor from Dak.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,026 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

So much wrong with the Cowboys but it all starts with the animated head coach wagging his head like it's the players fault, head down, look of disgust on his face. That's not helping his team.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    Wide open miss.

Trevon Diggs getting a 1st team AP nod makes a mockery of the accolade. Burned badly again but Jimmy G missed the throw.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

I know Diggs had a phenomenol season with picks but it was absurd him being first team All-Pro. There's easily 10 CBs better than him. Iirc he's in the top 10 DBs that have given away the most yards this season too. When/if the picks dry up he'll sitting on the bench.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,384 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

23-7 Niners after three quarters. Hold the line San Fran please.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,026 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

He's an extremely talented rookie, he is going to get better and better over the next couple of years.

I agree he shouldn't have been all-pro. JC Jackson wasn't even a consideration by all accounts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,794 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

Ridiculous amount of sloppy penalties from the Cowboys. Well-coached teams don't do that.
