What car that you previously owned would you like back - or better again did you buy/swap it back "shout out to pigeons Peugeot" lol

My diablo red Pug 106 GTi. It was a great little car, plenty of go and handled brilliantly. Unfortunately finding a good one these days would be next to impossible as most were thrashed.

Nothing fancy. Just our 07 Toyota avensis. Should have just got the seals replaced all around the windows and kept it. A simple car that gave absolutely no trouble. Only 100,000km on clock when we traded it for a Hyundai Kona before returning to a another Toyota, a CHR.

My 07 MKV GTI .. I really loved that car .. and I had it in the glorious period between getting married and having kids ... so it went with all the freedom that you kids don't give you!!

and strangely enough ... I really miss my Skoda Superb Combi from 2011 which I put 450,000km on the clock ... it was a work horse - never missed a beat - slow a could be but super comfy and just an all round joy to own !!

In the mid 70's I had a Cortina Mk3 1.3L. It was a great car, very reliable. It drove beautifully and I once got 100mph out of it (down a very long hill ). It was red, and I added the mandatory go-faster stripes on the sides. But I REALLY wanted a 2.0 GT version in yellow with the black vinyl roof. Couldn't afford one, they weren't cheap and the insurance for a 22 year old was eye-watering enough on the 1.3.

Anyway, had a look at a very clean one for sale on t'Internet, and I still think its a great looker.

My '91 Sunny LX. Never in all of human endeavour has a more honest, reliable, simple, durable companion of a car been produced.

I had it probably 2 years and apart from the most basic of annual services, it never needed a thing. Unbelievably well built for its time as well.

Well, the sunny in that picture brings me back. My Dad had one "think it was a 92" identical to the picture you linked.. I will forever remember that car for summer holidays in the mobile home park in Wexford. Good times

Yes it was eg civic blue. My old one was for sale last year but for CRAZY money and it was absolutely destroyed. AFAIK the engine (190bhp) and box were harvested and the rest was parted out since. It looked like the owners who had it after me didn't care for it. Sad.

Very rare find a transtop/manual/SiR combo. Anytime one pops up on DD it's a SOHC or auto and they're pointless.

Oooh, instant regret when I sold my NA Eunos Roadster and my RX8. Both were sold with very grown up mindsets because I need the money to fund the house I'm now sitting in.

On a lesser scale, I'd love my XC70 back if it wasn't such a heap of sh!t. The spacw, comfort and tank like safety would be great now as a new dad!

Mazda 626, 2ltr petrol.........she was a rocket launcher from the lights.....pracically gave it away.....she cost a packet to tax & fill. Bought a Nissan quashqai ( 1.5ltr diesel)......i remember thinking for the first few months 'I feel old'

Had a completely stock 95 black RX7 and engine was in near perfect condition when tested.

Would love it back but they seem hard to get now and have gone crazy expensive.

An E60 M5 that I bought in 2010 and sold in 2015. Not so much because I miss it as a daily driver - it was difficult enough to live with - but more because I think it will be worth a lot of money in the future. This guy has some great videos of him fixing various issues with a manual one that he bought.

There are two cars I would love back.

My first car, a 1995 JDM Toyota starlet. Partly for nostalgia sake, but it was also a really nice runabout.

I would also like another E39 BMW. I had a 2002 525d which I loved. Such a solid, comfortable car.

the biggest regret i have is selling my beautiful Saab900 CSE 2.3 and I still cant figure out ( obviously another car bought ) why i did but that's life i guess.
