I would keep doing what you are doing to be honest. I think it's too early to diverge, you might as well keep both teams the same. There's too many matches to be played. I wish I hadn't gone with Antonio the other night over Bowen in my second team because I have 19 transfers left with that one and it would have stayed in the top 50 if I had captained Bowen. Nice to have a second team up there.

I think a lot of teams don't have a Watford player so I am expecting to see the averages come down again next week.

Dias not playing yesterday was a killer. That's a number of times he has been rested this season. Looking at Laporte at overhaul because he seems to play all the time now. I had VVD for most of the season but got rid of him when he got COVID for Reece James. That worked up to a point. VVD certainly going back in at overhaul.

Can't wait for overhaul mainly because those in the top 10 seem to be making transfers and I am settling for what I have. Have to look at the bigger picture to hold the transfers.

The Monday match earlier in the season when Everton played Burnley. I put in Gray and I thought I had set the captain but it didn't go through! Cost me 8 points. The second time was Cancelo against Leicester before Christmas which was my fault. It cost me 3 points so 11 altogether. I would still be 2nd overall with the 11 points but the points could well be very important at the end of the season.

For those with only Ronaldo tomorrow. If he isn’t in the lineup will you be planning a transfer to a Spurs or Leicester player to get a captain in?

Yeah I’d be looking at trying to get at least an 20 points out of the transfer. So if Ronaldo misses the game (and assuming he makes the next one), I would be looking at trying to get 20 points out of the 3 for 1

What I do generally is I wait till the lineups are posted and then pick my captain. Ronaldo if he starts, De Gea if he doesn't. Brentford on a terrible run at the moment, I think they have been found out. United on trial for me tonight. They need to be showing something in the next couple of matches for me to consider their players post overhaul.

Well that worked out for him! That was a horror show. Down to 5th but a good few of the top 10 transferred in either King or Dennis so that's another transfer gone for them. At least I won't be bothering with Watford in that match after overhaul.

Longest month of my life waiting for the overhaul. 18 left here, down to 4th now but still hope I am in a good position. I hope I have more than anyone in the top 10 anyway. Hoping that we all don't have template teams for the next while after overhaul.

Fairly certain all those players will be in most teams. I think a lot of will depend whether you go with a 5th expensive defender or go with an expensive striker up top along with Salah. I plan on having a flexible team where I can change formation if I see a good 3 for 1 or 4 for 2.

I plan on having Pope at the start after overhaul but can see me being flexible with him depending on his fixtures. I don't see him as a set and leave goalie. Burnley were very lucky not to be hammered by Arsenal yesterday. Their defence is not as good as it has been in previous years. Apart from Cornet maybe I don't see who else I would bring in off them. Hopefully they sign someone in the window.

Updated fixtures for the end of February and March. Only one game rearranged. Wasn't planning on having United coverage really for the first few weeks, guess I will have to change that now.

Trying to work out why there can't be fixtures on the Wednesday that week. It's not as if they don't have enough options to bang in a couple of matches that day!
