Gutted that the power was disconnected on my console ( damn playstation ! 😃 ) and batteries were dead. Great record to have Docarch.

Anyway a fine calm day in Tralee after earlier cloud cleared. Got up to 10.2C and currently 2.3C and fine.

Pic of Fenit Harbour this afternoon.

Left Trim, Co Meath a little after 05:00 today, with my journey ending in Inchicore, Dublin 8 via the M4 from Kilcock. Car was showing 3° when departing Trim and the frost had already cleared the car and grass. Remained between 3° and 4° between there and Kilcock. Heading eastbound on the M4, the temperature remained at 3° until just after the Maynooth exit at which point it dropped to 2°. Passed Celbridge exit at which point it was 1° and there was a light frost on the grass median. Sudden drop to -1° at the Leixlip exit and the frost was quite thick. Went back up to 0° at the M50 and it hovered around the freezing mark from thereon. The temperature differences can be easily seen below whereby the last of the cold is being shunted east by the advancing weather front. The -2° refers to the Phoenix Park which looks to have had a low of -3.1°.

No sun for days in Cork - again - and not looking like any sun soon.

Absolutely no wind and 7c out, but feels a lot colder. Could do with some brightness!!

Weather has been fantastic last week with lots of sun and no rain. Currently clear with very little breeze and amazingly no frost, 3.9C, considering the time of year in south Dublin.

@Marine Layer - how many sub-0c's have you recorded in January (9am-9am). Also, is your Davis online anywhere?

Anyone else sick of this weather? I know it’s exceptionally dry which makes some early farm work much easier but I hate these days- it’s been cold, still and dull here in the south east. Missing a bit of sunshine majorly here

Got down to -0.4C last night in a clear slot before clouding over again and a breeze picking up, currently 6.0c in Loughinstown and dropping again as the skies seem fairly clear again (its still dark).
