Are €20 scratch cards good sellers ?

No, they're definitely not popular. Very rarely get winners, as the top prizes are so big.

I personally think it's a mugs game, but family play them regular - but only the bingo scratch cards. A win is guaranteed roughly every 3 or 4 tickets on them but you can also win multiple prizes on the same card - and I've seen loads do it.

Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

Can't believe there is such a think as a €20 euro scratch card. I have no problem with the lottery as a form of gambling as long as one is not encouraged to spend large (ish) sums of money in one go.

Wouldn't one feel like a right idiot scratching a 20 euro ticket only to throw it in the bin. You might as well have thrown the 20 euros in the bin.

I know a lad who won big with one, about 3 or 4 years ago. He won €250,000 on a scratch card so I presume it was the €20 version. It messed him up a bit, I think, because he was at an age where that amount of money was enough to go mad on but not enough to set yourself up for the future. So he 'enjoyed' himself...

Never knew they existed, I was aware of the €20 'millionaire' ticket at Christmas.

Crazy stuff, can't see how that much more expense would come in to it, 25%.

Cards/games get discontinued regularly and replaced by a new game.

I only thought they went up to €5. €20 for a scratchcard is madness.

I was the dope keeping track of all the paper with the serial numbers on the back and the Quality compliance. Business was booming back in the early 2000. Poorly paid and moved onto something bigger soon afterwards. It never ceased to amaze me the number of tickets shipped.
