    Hi all,

Is there any enduro routes in Laois/Slievebloom that you wont be annoying hill walkers or mountain bikers etc ?

This is Ireland, the outdoors are not for enjoyment. Walk only on the trails, don't walk off the trails... Motorcycles are not allowed off the tarmac, camping only in fully developed campsites that are taxable

I know you're being sarcastic, and the part about bikes off-road not being allowed is true, but the last part is not, wild camping is permitted in Ireland. Friends of mine are not long back from a WAW tour on the bikes and they wild camped without issue for the week and had a ball.

@crf450 to your original question, there are no permitted enduro routes, but that doesn't mean there's nowhere you can't go off-road. I've been off-road a few times and encountered plenty of walkers/mountain bikers, even people on horseback. Once you're respectful, give space (especially if they have dogs and pass them at a handy pace there's no issue. Would be a different story if you came round the bend sliding sideways and passed people on the back wheel or throttle to the stop. 😅

Just because they didn't have any issues doesn't mean that it's legal to wild camp. All land in Ireland is owned and you are supposed to ask the landowners permission to use it. Similarly with riding off road it's all owned and a lot of landowners don't want people, never mind motorbikes, on their land but it's hard to stop access in a lot of areas.

Interesting... so where do people with motorcycles like the T700 or a CRF 300Rally go to ride some non-tarmac?

    Europe unfortunatly.

You would be better off tagging along with someone who does trails in Ireland as most won't publically share their routes due to risk of overcrowding and having the routes shut down.
